    :j:j Friday and Payday.......

Have just done all my banking and potted my pennies into the appropriate pots... have enough in my 'city break' pot to book something with lovely mother, so that will probably be tomorrow's job.... she is desperate to come and see me as its my birthday tomorrow.. not a special one.. that is next year..:D

Not a lot to report this week, was feeling very down again.. think I am of the age for ladies when this is a regular occurrence.. as today I feel fine...:j So i am not going to worry and just push through it..

With a milestone being reached tomorrow... 49.. how did I get this old.... I am determined that the coming year is going to be different.. I am going to reclaim the old me and so I will be reporting in and getting this weight shifted.. not this weekend though I shall be eating for England....Take away tonight and out for dinner with my best friend tomorrow...

Still no news from cabot/halifax.. it was suppose to be 40 days from 7 June so I will leave it a few more weeks then chase it up... The wescot cca which I then had to send to the creditor which I did last week I have yet to have confirmation that they have received it.. and as for the ICO.. obviously still very busy as no word from them about my complaint of lack of default...

I have been doing a £1 a day saving since April.. plus lovely mother gave me £40 which I put with it so have £200 ish cash which currently doesn't have a job... hopefully OH will be generous with his present giving. he puts a lot of thought into stuffing money into a card and envelope..:rotfl: Suits me though....

Right best get on with some work, office is beckoning this afternoon.. then its the weekend....:j:j:j

Thank you cbc, although I did have to wait until the evening for OH's card as he had to go and buy it.... the 364 days in between are obviously not enough..!!!

    Hi INOD,

We probably shouldn't as I'm not convinced we would all achieve our plans.... holiday to the maldives/being a size 12/money in the bank.....etc.etc.... I am quite looking forward to reaching the big 50.....

So Monday... and August tomorrow.. soon be time to put the :xmastree: up.... :D:D:D:D

Right birthday done and dusted... cash, gift card and chocs.. all good.. have used some of my cash to pay for flights away with Lovely mother in October....we went out for a drink on my birthday and I suggested a couple of places such as Italy.. but no she wants to go to Ireland.. umm.... okay then.. so I have sorted that and she keeps saying she is paying.. umm... well some maybe but I do like to contribute despite being poor...:rotfl:

In the evening I went out with best friend and paid from our account, she has now decided she does fancy a holiday next year so will do some more planning.. all paid for already as we have savings..

Have started my decluttering something everyday and 25 items have left the building since yesterday.. If I keep going the house will be empty by the time I am 50...:rotfl:

Quiet week planned, only 4 days as off Friday to do jobs with dd....

    Back later in the week..

  • I spent a few days in Dublin many years ago. Totally magical, would happily go back again if I could afford a holiday.

:j:j:j Friday and the weekend started early for me as a cheeky day off today.. no great plans, have spent the morning pottering around and will shortly be heading out with dd to do the food shop at our shiny new supermarket...

Have paid dmp for the month.. very slow progress but still going down so always a bonus.. currently at 33.8% paid... have also sent an email off to cab*t as they state they will contact me if they can't find my paperwork within 40 days and its now been 58... still keeping my fingers firmly crossed...not my biggest debt but a touch over 4K......

Paid LD for car loan so I now own 20%.....

Last night I had another crop of my runners for dinner..:D and I now have 2 bowls of tomatoes in the fridge and many more on the plants.. will have to cook something with them I think.. maybe a pasta sauce....

I have been 49 for nearly a week..

Have exercised twice.. (3 times a week is my aim..)
Have lost a 1lb.. probably find it again by Monday...
Have decluttered over 50 items from the house.. nothing big so not gained any space but we do seem to have an awfully lot of junk/tat to dispose of...
Have sorted my £1 a day pots and will pay that into the bank tomorrow and decide where its going.. £150.!!
Have another £10 for the clothes fund (50p's)
Have opened yet another savings pot for car insurance so that next year I can pay in one go and then next year I will start one for house insurance..
    Have organised trip with LM.
Have organised girls night out later in the month..

I am feeling quite.. :j:j at the moment..

Long may it last.. best go dd is bored and wants to go shopping...
