    Morning..

    Money News...

I have finally hit 33% PAID its taken 6 months longer to reach this point than it should have due to reduced payments and obviously my dfd has moved well out as no plans to change payments yet... But I am pleased to have got to a third paid off and should be reaching into the 39k's in the next few months.. so much nicer than 40k...or the original 60k...

Cabot have now bought my Halifex debt, don't expect anything will change..!

I haven't cca'd most of mine, in fact only 1 and that was all okay.. I am tempted reading the good news from January on the dmp thread about her success with the unenforceable debt and f & f of 10%.. My oldest cc is one of my biggest and was taken out in 1997.... But at the moment I am tempted not to rock any boats, I will think on it..

    Cat News..

Well the bad cat is still hanging around, tormenting my neighbours mainly as my furr babies are unfortunately being kept in most of the time.. not sure how realistic this is long term, but with dd back soon she will panic if here on her own so will have to be what it is for now.. But I have found out that an elderly gentlemen who lived in a road nearby had died a few months back and owned a big black cat albeit female.. could be one and the same.. I think I will put some notices up on lamp posts and see if anyone knows anything.. If it is a stray I will try and get the rescue/charities involved asap...

    Other News..

None really... looking forwards to dd coming home, although not looking forwards to playing mum taxi.. messes with my tv schedule you know..:rotfl: I really must get a hobby, I am boring myself now.....

Right big meeting this afternoon, although a free lunch so that's very :money: and must submit my next draft for the work for the course I did recently... fingers crossed it passes second time..

Great minds and all that;). I was motivated by January's brilliant result to CCA my credit card debts. Full of good intentions I've even bought the 5 postal orders and was gobsmacked to find they charge 50p on top of the £1 fee for each of them:eek:. On thinking about it I'm just like you and don't want to rock any boats. I'm a real wimp when it comes to any interaction with my creditors:o. Needless to say I haven't sent the letters off yet. All but one of the accounts date from the late 1990s so I stand a reasonable chance of at least one being unenforceable. Decisions, decisions.

I hope you have luck tracing the cat owner but if it was an aggressive cat it doesn't sound likely that it was female. Also, is it the same one that's been spraying? A Tom cat leaves a very distinctive odour (smells disgusting:eek:) and I don't think females scent-mark anyway. Could be wrong, I frequently am;)

2 nice bottles of wine now bought ready for my Staycation, should see me through the week:rotfl:. Can you tell, I'm already a bit giddy?

I hope your work passes when you submit it. Good luck:beer:

  • :T Well done on reaching 33% of your debt paid, Puzz, that's a wonderful accomplishment :D I woke up early this morning and thought your diary looked interesting (cat lady here!) so I read a couple of pages... fast forward a couple of hours and I'd read the entire thread up until now :o

I just wanted to say that you've done exceptionally well over the last couple of years paying down the debt especially with your car and DD's uni fees :T and I'm loving the sound of all those holidays! I haven't been abroad for years so if you don't mind I'll camp out on this thread and live vicariously through you

Fingers crossed you have luck tracing the cat's owner, however if it's your late neighbour's female then her unusual (for a female) behaviour may be down to being pregnant/having kittens because she's seeing your cats as a threat to her kittens?

    Hi CBC,

Hi Lilyflower, Lovely to have you here.. Can't believe you read all my drivel... !

Not sure about the kitten issue, could be a consideration but I think its either an unspeyed female on heat so after the boys.. or unneutered tom after the girls.. I just wish it would vanish.....

    Do pop by again..

:j:j Cheeky last minute day off...

I had booked Friday off but then dd said she was coming home today, so I am being a big brave puzz and driving down to collect her this afternoon... (with LM as navigator..)...

Am keeping my furr babies in today as the bad cat was stalking all round last night. I have made my posters and will pop out later and stick them on some lamp posts. No word from the cat rescue chap yet but hoping he will respond soon, also hoping I don't get any calls because I am not really sure where I go if someone claims ownership..... will have to see.. its always one thing or another...

Passed my work for my course so just need to hear about the exam, but am fairly confident that should be okay.

Right best have a late breakfast/early lunch and then head off to the seaside...

That made me laugh! I've got 2 bottles in already (good offer on Pinot Grigio, my favourite) but doesn't mean I can't get some more;)
