fusion radio code

in Motoring
my fusion went in to get abs unit and now need radio code,is not in log book.went to ford dealer said it would cost £60 (45 min labour to get radio out of dash to get number .then went on line and found out if you press 6 2 together will give no ,which is m127542 hopefully can now get code:)

£60? Are they having a laugh, you could get a better stereo for that.
There's a piece of software that is available online that will decode it from the serial number.0 -
