Potterton Boiler and BG
We bought our house a year ago (almost to the day lol) and ever since we moved it we have had an issue with the boiler (Its a Potterton Gold Combi).
Basically once the outside temperature drops (not sure to what degree but this week for example daytime temp has been about 8 at its lowest), the boiler pressure drops and we get Error 19 which I know means it needs re-pressurising with water again.
We have had BG out about 10 times now, most of the time they just re-pressurise and can't find a fault, however they have done a couple of full checks, fixed a small leak, replaced a couple of parts, and yet again this week 1st temp drop since the summer and its gone again. I tried filling it last night to no avail so I have BG coming out again, but really anyone have any idea what is happening?
Just for info we haven't used any heating since about May time just the hot water. There are no obvious leaks, no drips outside and I've checked the site of the last leak. The boiler is in the attic (stupid place if you ask me), the attic is insulated but still very cold up there, is this the issue?
