Good afternoon everyone,
Ally - Thanks for starting the thread this morning
La E - I know that game well, as I play it far too often
My plans for today:
Catch up with emails
Quick shower
Childcare and school runs (wish I could walk rather than using the car but far too wet)
Attend college
Take ds2 to hospital appointment for hip scan
Do homework for tomorrow
Persuade ds1 to do some of his homework
Make a start on decorating the bathroom
Spend an hour looking for freelance work
Nectar adpoints
Check postcode lottery & birthday bingo
Check one poll and complete surveys
Check Mr A price guarantee
Do some work on ironing mountain
Check bank and move money around
All meals from stores
I think that is everything for today. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday, hugs to those that want/need them x0 -

Hi everyone,
Thanks for starting us Ally.
La e - I feel like that too at the moment! Silly sales claiming my money...but the bargains were just too good to resist.
It is cold, wet & generally miserable here today, & that's how I feel
Today's plan:-
- Making use of free water at work
- Food from stores, leftovers for lunch
- Dinner from meal plan - HM Chilli, I make a double batch of this & freeze half as a "ready meal" for another day
- Stayed in for most of my lunch break to avoid spending, but popped to Superdrug to buy essentials & used my beautycard & nus card
- Log calories & exercise on free apps
- Checked birthday bingo
- Check online banking
- Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
- Enter some comps
- Do some surveys
- Declutter & flylady
- Check emails for reply regarding refund & chase up as I didn't get round to this last night
- DH hopefully doing some overtime today
- Heating off, fleecey dressing gowns on instead
- Work on CV for possible temp promotion
- Today is day 2 of the 30 days challenge involving a fitness DVD I bought earlier this year, hoping it'll make me use it more & it's free exercise if you minus the electricity cost!

- Go through meal plan for coming week & see what I need to buy if anything, there is no pole class for the next 3 weeks so I won't be going near Sainsbugs, so I'm trying to hold out as long as possible to avoid petrol costs
- Check if Amazon cashback has tracked from yesterday, got a free book for DH's stocking for xmas after checking out the grabbit board quickly on my lunchbreak! If someone wants to take advantage of this Ally has kindly put the link in her post, & if you're not already with topcashback please use my referral link so that I may be debt free quicker! http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/Pernicious

Went to cooperative to use £1 off £10, bought the Christmas sweet tubs at 2 for £9, and some essential milk and butter and got another £1 off £10 till spit when I paid. Nice.
The clever, very clever DFWannabe bit now is not to eat the sweets...... can I do it????

How do you make them?
Hi Gem, i use this recipe:

They are so easy to make, and really yummy

Calling at contonental s/market on the way home to get a big bag of basmati rice - got to be cheaper than M/sons! (think I've got ~ £1.60/kg to beat)
Also reckon it's about time to review the phone/bband & TV deal with virgin - must be something to saved there tonight by ringing retentions!0 -

Have you ever worked out what they cost / naan? I did a bunch of 5 home made 8" pizza bases the other day and worked it out to about 28p each which is cheaper than the store bought ones anyway0 -

I haven't, but I would guess at just a few p for the 5 Nann that i get from the recipe i provided. Plus, i know that there are no chemicals added to make them fresh.
I make pizza bases too, they taste loads nicer than shop bought
