Do Fixed Priced deals have extra charges?
I am currently with Scottish Power and am coming to the end of a 2 year fixed deal - I was attracted by their 'Help Beat Cancer' fixed deal to January 2017, found via the Cheap Energy Club, but it has been suggested that there are actually additional (high) standing charges that are not included in the figures provided by Cheap Energy Club.
Is that the case, or do the figures cited include standing charges?

Fixed deals will usually be more expensive than variable tariffs but they should include both parts in any calculation quote from a comparison service such as Cheap Energy Club.
Any omission is an error, not design.0 -
Thanks
Apparently all tariffs will now have to include standing charges.... according to Scottish Power.
I will more than likely agree to this long term fix unless I discover any major negatives!0
