Consultation period for less than 20 employees

The three people chosen, does anyone else have the same job title as them and do the same work?

have a read of this, under 20 staff so techincally no consultation required but its good practise and good evidence for the employer if taken to tribunal.

Other than that I am out of this thread. Seek professional help is my final advice.

Thanks for that, but you're right in your earlier post - I'm still not really getting it! My question is why this role as opposed to others that could also equally be carried out by others? (my husband being one of them)

I will as advised get some further advise.
