Loan default help!!

  • Thank you Fermi. I'll just type out the few details they will need.
  • Hi,

So I have finally received a response from Welcome Finance. They have said that there is no reason for them to believe I'm not the customer and that as I am alleging that I have not taken out the loan, they are not willing to divulge any further information. Obviously in my prove it letter I said I didn't acknowledge the debt.

Surely, they should prove that I owe it? Last time I had checked, they had actually taken this entry off my credit report and now my credit rating is good. I'm just worried they are going to put this entry back on there.

Any advice on what I do now? I want to know the details so I can see if it's statute barred but they say they won't give me any info.

    Thank you.

If they want to keeps pursuing it or recording it on your credit file then they do.

As then may just be a case of keeping your eye on your credit files and seeing if they sell the account on.
