Hi. Apologies if this has already been asked. I had a quick look and didn't find anything relevant.

I have Power of Attorney over my wife's affairs. She has a share certificate for some shares traded on the Swiss (Zurich) stock exchange. I want to sell the shares in order to tidy up her affairs but haven't been able to find a broker that will deal in certificated foreign (namely, Swiss) shares.

I thought I could do it through a Lloyds TSB Share Dealing nominee account but found out today that that is no longer possible (since June).

I don't know whether having to do this under Power of Attorney would exclude some brokers or whether that is just an extra hurdle to be got over.

Do you know of any (reasonably priced) brokers through whom I could sell the shares?
