Karndean, laminate or something else for kitchen

Our current kitchen floor is tiled but I'm going for a wood effect.
So I can either go Karndean style, laminate or engineered flooring.
I'd prefer quality engineered flooring but is this suitable for a kitchen? Also what is the best quality/most authentic looking laminate out there?
Thanks

I wouldn't install laminate or engineered wood in a kitchen. Go for Karndean (Amtico only a fraction upscale in quality but a mountinous cost uplift). Alternatively you could consider replacing your existing ceramic tiles with something like this:

which, believe it or not, are ceramic tiles.
