  • Thanks for all the advice, we are extremely rural and with a 6 month old daughter walking is not a good idea. Unfortunately my other half was only working for this company for 10 weeks after the brought the previous firm out after going into liquidation. We are waiting for a final payment from his previous company as they owe him over £1000 from June's wage. But I'm told he has to wait for all the assets to be sold before anyone gets any monies owed! I'm a good with food etc already and yes I've emailed the payday loans, awaiting a reply.
  • Hopefully the partner has enough NI contributions in the relevant years to entitle him to contribution based JSA.

    Erm - then he should be TUPED and pay redundancy and notice pay
