Easy parking

Hi I went to my dentist, and my partner parked as usual in the car park at the back. When I came back to my car there was a parking ticket from a company called 'easy parking enforcement'
I returned to the dentist and they told me the land belonged to their landlord and they cant help ! I didnt pay it and when I returned the following week the receptionist told me another patient parked in the same car park and when she told him he could get a ticket he said it was illegal to issue them as it was a private car park and he works in that field. I want to respond to this penalty but am at a loss as to how to word it. The ticket states, "no permit displayed" and "private parking" There were signs on the gates but theses were open and we didnt even notice them until on our way out with the parking ticket !!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Firstly you owe nothing and it's not a penalty.
Secondly, "Easy Parking" are not part of the club called the British Parking Association meaning they can't get the Registered Keepers details from DVLA so can't chase this up.
Assuming you have the name of the parking company correct then you should just ignore the ticket and carry on with life as was.0 -
Well, well, well. Just look at this. If these are the same outfit they are not members of the BPA AOS, but are pronouncing that they are in the 'Process of becoming Members and Approved Operators of the Independent Parking Committee' - the new ATA on the block.

@tricia123 - you must come back here if you get any correspondence from this company. Whatever you do, do not make any contact with them.

Please do as they should have no scope to access your address (unless you write to them - and tell me you haven't done that, and you won't!).
If they do acquire your address, this is significant, and trouble for them. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

But you might be well advised to take a few photos of the entrance to that land and any signs they have up before they start erecting compliant BPA signs and swear that they were always there!0

GD - they're joining the opposition - 'The Independent Parking Committee'. Putting BPA (logo?) compliant signs up will no doubt get them black-balled.
That will see them 'up the paddle without a creek' :rotfl:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
