  • Oh well....lesson learnt...and it could have been worse (ie all those FTB'ers that seem to assume the whole process takes a lot shorter time than it actually does in the event...and then try and "clobber" those higher up the chain into fulfilling their very idealistic expectations).

    So...you haven't done nearly as bad as many FTB'ers in terms of being "realistic" about how things "work".

    Dad is literally driving to his bank now. I have >10k available on cc's but surely I cant do that as that would be mortgage fraud?! You cant use cc money to pay for a house deposit or any other loan for that matter???

    Its not mortgage fraud, you are responding to changing circumstances, and you are not going to be bettering yourself as a result.
