laminate wood floring - door joint

hi

i dont know what this thing is called so will try to explain whats broken!

we have laminate wood flooring in the house in hallway and livign room. under the door between hallway and living room, there is a wooden strip which covers the joint between wood flooring on both sides.

this strip has come off. how do i fix it back? not sure if its glued?

  • It's normally called a door threshold strip. Chances are, it was glued down. I would get some strong glue/super glue, suitable for wood, and glue the strip back onto the flooring.

    It's not uncommon for the strip to come loose, the glue they use on them isn't the strongest.
