ESA Medical But They Say I Need to See a Doctor

I went all the way travelling a long distance to my ESA medical with my carer and when I got to the medical centre was told because I have a physical disability as well as mental disability I need to see a doctor not a nurse, is this normal? surely they should of known this before I went there..

I keep ringing to check if they have re-arranged a appointment for me but for the last few weeks they are saying they haven't got one yet.. how long does this take can it take weeks or months?

I had to see a dr instead of a nurse last year because once I suffered from sciatica and she wasnt trained in nervous conditions. Took about 2 months to rearrange

My housemate had to see a doctor because he has aspergers, that took a further two months to arrange but he managed to get into the WRAG group.
