Hi all
We are having our bathroom completely renovated and are thinking of underfloor heating.
Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for when choosing a supplier,
what are the running costs like, our bathoroom is 2.66 x 2.66 m
many thanks in advance

it will be a cheaper install to use electric matting rather than your existing wet central heatingI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Electric is a much better solution than a wet system, although I would suggest the cable element system is easier and more flexible for bathrooms.
Make sure that you use a good insulation board underneath or the heat will disappear downwards.
If this is the only heating, make sure you have a high rated one. If it is secondary heating, a lower rated system is sufficient.
Make sure when it is installed that you install a second probe and leave it unconnected, so that when the first one fails, you can simply swap them over.
I've always bought from here who are very helpful and their prices are good.
