Late payments on account

Hi there, I have just noticed Clydesdale bank have put 3 late payments on my credit report, I have a basic current account with no overdraft etc.

But apparently my account went into unauthourised overdraft due to me using my card for fuel in April 2013.

Its an account I dont use anymore but used the card out of the blue, & went into unauthourised overdraft.

I did not know this & recieved a letter from them
Several weeks later & paid it, but they have put late payments on my CR.

Equifax wont remove it

Experian & Equifax will not remove late payments as they can't unless told by the company in question.

Those late payments will NOT be removed as its a true reflection of the way you handle your credit, this is why companies check credit reports before offering credit.

If you go OD or have a DD returned, they can put on a 1 payment late marker.

What do you have? 3 months of 1 payment late?

If you did not pay for 2-3 months, depending on the statement cycle, then sounds about right.

Only chance is if they never told you, but they are supposed to tell you before charges are taken. You not get statements?
