What to do with 50k

We have just sold our house and moved into rented accomodation until we find another property to purchase. We have about 50k from the sale to use as a deposit on our next house. Until we find another property the money will be sitting in our bank account. Are there any accounts currently available with a decent interest rate? Any advice/recommendations on ways to maximise the money would be greatly appreciated?

Literally the same Q has been asked and answered a few hours ago. Everybody's £50K in cash are the same, as are the options for saving it for a few months. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5967240

But we are where we are, so who do you bank with? Several banks have 3% AER options on their current accounts (and one has 5% AER). Failing that, the best you'll get will be a good bit under 2% AER.0
