So for your 60 mugs would cost £37.96
Just be aware that the mugs are TINY (too small for my three year old)0 -
How about buying a set smart price pencils, red if you can get them.
Perhaps you could get some xmas rubbers cheap too and pop in a cello bag together
A pack of peel off card alphabets and sticking each childs name on then apply a clear layer of nail vanish to seal
Works with the cheap toothbrushes too , think they`re 2 for 10p in sains at the moment.

If you want to be really cheap and have use of the school equipment you could print out some bookmarks and laminate them.
Make them personal, xmassy or not, punch a hole in the end for some ribbon, inspirational quotes, favourite characters, the list goes on.
Potentially free and you can sneakily encourage them to read more at the same time.

seriously, why do you need to provide a Christmas present for 60 children?
A card individually written to each child with a note about them that shows you know them as an individual not just as "one of 30" will mean just as much & the parents will love them ... if you really want a present a christmassy pencil will be cheap & cheerful and useful too
I don't need to as such, I just feel I want to. I've decided to buy a pencil & rubber for each of them (always getting lost!), making a bookmark and a charity donation per class to link/sponsor a class in a school in Africa. Thanks for all your fab ideas. I will have to remember some of them for birthdays etc though!Mortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄0 -
Someone metioned these up above, and I posted about them on the Qrabbit board a few weeks back also. I've bought these http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9084728.htm for my class of 30 children, aswell as prizes for my afterschools club
12 books for £3 and they are lovely little books and great quality!
I'm always on the look-out for wee things through out the year, and I also have a little A5 size christmas pop up book for each child, and there's a choice of 4 books. The night before Christmas, The little Christmas tree, Santa's Toy Shop and something else. Got them for 25p each last year in the Xmas sales
Last year I bought Christmas Party cups, filled them with a Christmas pencil, colouring book, markers and made my own bookmarks with a wee packet of Reindeer food also. And wrapped them in Christmas cellophane, with a gift label on each one hand written. Think they worked out about 40p each as I got the stuff on Ebay or in Poundland
But I'm now away to have a look at some of the links been posted on here for you lol.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Is this the norm? My DS just started reception, we have been told no sweeties for birthdays, there are 3 reception classes at our school, over 80 kiddies, that's a lot of sweeties! But do teachers and pupils really buy each other Xmas presents? What does teacher do with 30 chocolate oranges lol? Crikey I'd better acquaint myself with school etiquette...Bossymoo
