Hi, I work with 2 Classes of children & would like to buy/ make something for them for Xmas- however I really don't want to be spending £1 each on em as that's £60 before you know it. Sweets are a bit of a o no as we have children who are diabetic & have various allergies/intolerances. I thought a mini notebook & crayons? Ay ideas gratefully received! Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place.x

what age groups are you working with?
for younger ones there are a few deals on book bundles which work about around 63p a book
poundland sometimes have packs of 4 smaller colouring books which you could split and add some value colouring pencils/crayons
argos clearance had some pks of 12 activity books for £2.99 still the odd pack availablethis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Year 3 &4. I might do a little bundle with a xmassy tag on with stationary for them- its always going missing! Would be great if it had a key ring onMortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄0

Very recently my best mate provided fantastic party bags for her 4 year old's party.
She said she found items on ebay and emailed the seller asking if they could do a deal and they obliged.
For example a seller had children's story books on CD for £2.99. My mate cut a deal for £1 each for 20 and the CD cover was personalised. This included the plastic sleeve.
She also made deals for books and DVD's.
The party bags looked like they set her back at least £20 each but she said she spend £6 each.Dave Ramsey Fan[/COLOR]0 -

in the past for my class, ive bought the cheap as chips stuff from asda. I see thru pencil case each, the smartprice packs of pens and pencils and rubbers etc to split up between them and a smartprice note book each. think it worked out about 60p each0

Having a look at Baker Ross, you could get plastic Christmas mugs that work out at 62p each here
http://www.bakerross.co.uk/polar-pals-plastic-mugs
So for your 60 mugs would cost £37.96
Plus 3.15% back on topcashback would give you £1.14 back.
I think it's a nice little keepsake, you can't buy much for 60p these days.
You could look at pinterest and maybe make something, like a tree decoration with their names on?Comping wishlist for 2017

Why not just get some assorted pencils rubbers and stickers etc...
or perhaps bake some shortbread biscuits that can be cut into stars and iced, with a small piece of ribbon attached they will look like a christmas decorationfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
seriously, why do you need to provide a Christmas present for 60 children?
A card individually written to each child with a note about them that shows you know them as an individual not just as "one of 30" will mean just as much & the parents will love them ... if you really want a present a christmassy pencil will be cheap & cheerful and useful too0
