New tumble dryer, can I get an adapter to fit hose back of dryer end connector?

I have had to buy a new tumble dryer, hotpoint TVYM650C6P and I am hoping I will be able to get some kind of part to fit on the end of the hose that goes directly into the back of the dryer as I cant believe that there is no plastic ring on the end of it. You just have to put the squashy hose into the hole and twist it in, this is very awkward and squashes as you twist it leaving dints which you cant get out, its such a cheap way of doing it I am so unimpressed.
My last tumble dryer also a hotpoint came with a ring for the hose end that just pushed into the hole at the back of the dryer, having that on meant the hose didn't get squashed and it could be connected and disconnected whenever it needed to be. This one cant be as once it is on its already got squashed so getting it off again would wreck it completely.
Why on earth do they sell them like this now, its just a small part that makes a huge difference.
If I cant get one can I return it under the distance selling rule? If so would I have to pay for return?

Thanks but I think they are for connecting 2 extension tubes together. I did have a look on the net first but its not clear exactly even if there is one because nothing actually states what they are or where they go.
I wondered if this kind of thing might be right but my model isn't mentioned on any of these things and its not clear which end these are meant for. I just don't understand why they don't put them in with a new machine like they used to.

If it's a required part, it seems rather odd that the manufacturer/retailer hasn't supplied it with the dryer?
Have you checked with Hotpoint? If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Well it looks like they have now decided it isn't a necessary part, its just a cheap way of connecting the hose without anything and saving money, but those hoses are flexible so twisting that around to put it in dents it really easy and it doesn't fit no where near as well as with a plastic connector. I just hope there will be a solution.Thanx

Try http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/713032 ?? This screws itself on to the flexi tube. Is that what you are looking for? Thanks but I think they are for connecting 2 extension tubes together.
