Does anyone know if halifax allow balance transfers from aqua or vanquis to their 27 month 0% card? I've read in a couple of older threads that there was a problem a while ago but can't find anything recent on this. And what about a catalogue (premier man). Would I have to pay that off with my card first?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Don't see any reason why you couldn't BT from Aqua or Vanquis, although I understand Vanquis can be a pain in the neck.urs sinserly,

I've transferred from vanquis and capital one twice in last 6 weeks. Most recently 5 days ago. No probs so far :-)0

I'm guessing the catalogue could be paid to either aqua or vanquis and then balance transferred? Is that correct?0

And one other thing. I didn't set up the transfer when I applied as I didn't know what the limit would be at that time. I take it I can still transfer at the 0% when I get the card? And does the credit limit get set lower if you don't set up a BT when applying? Thanks0

You normally have 60-90 days from opening he account to do all your transfers. I paid things off with my vanquis and them balance transferred them over to new account. In fact I did two balance transfers from vanquis to my new account.
Not sure if credit limit had any bearing on balance transfer, as mine was only £250, but I got over 5k limit.0 -
Just pay everything you want to pay off onto old card the BT it all over to new one for the 0%.0
