It would work. Other than size you are looking for speed. a Quick google search shows that the camera can also use the new generation sd cards SDHC.

These are faster and are available in larger capacities.

Please check the maximum size and speed your camera will take before buying it. The websites I looked at could be wrong

You've done better than I have with it - I got the magazine about 10 days ago but no memory card yet. I can't remember if there was a minimum period they suggested waiting for before getting in touch but I can see an email being sent soon.
