For some strange reason, since updating to KIS 2014, I'm not getting the K icon on the taskbar, although the application starts automatically on startup. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to get the icon back. Thank you for any advise.

It's possibly hidden.
Click on the little triangle on the right hand side of the taskbar "Show Hidden Icons" - Customise - Change the Kaspersky Entry to "Show Icon and Notifications""It's nice to be important but more important to be nice"
