Loan app & Equifax credit file

I'm looking at taking a loan.
To ensure my chances are good to be accepted I have been monitoring my credit file with Equifax.
My address was incorrect with the council and so it was showing that i wasn't registered with Equifax.
I've corrected that and i'm told it will be updated in October.
So,
1) Should i then wait 6 months?
2) Is there a website which shows which loan providers use which credit ref agency (so that I don't need to repeat the above with the other agencies)?

I would like to think the other 2 CRAs would update it at the same time.
You can check call credit for free using noddle.
I would check they have though, especially if you don't plan on moving for a while.
Probably best to wait til done before applying for a loan, as if accepted it might be at a higher rate depending how important they see electoral role.:beer:0 -

You may find that experian and noddle already show you as being on the electoral roll at your current address (equifax seem to have far more address mismatch issues than the other 2).
There is a guide as to which companies use with CRA here - Credit Reference Agencies - Who Really Uses Who? IIA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
