Taking car seat and stroller on long haul flight

Planning to take 18 months son to Mauritius for a wedding. I will take his stroller but was advised to bring a car seat as well. His car seat is very bulky and I do not know what to do, shall I wrap it and check it in with the luggage. I understand it is free to do so. Ideally I would like to wrap it in a strong plastic bag but do not know where to get this. I do not want to spend a lot of money by buying a special bag. Any suggestions, pl!!Thanks

They usually have the bags at check in, they will bag it and tape it up for you. It might be worth contacting your airline just to make sure they do.
Otherwise, do you have any matress/bed shops near you, they may have a big bag they could give you, but remember to take the tape with you for the homeward journey.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
