UPVC cladding or anti mould paints for ceiling?

Hi,
Am in the process of deciding what to put on the ceilings for my extension bathroom & kitchen thoughts of which one would be best for the job?,

    zinnser do a paint called perma white which is gauranteed mould proof for 5 years. if you go for a satin finish then this is wipable

    Assuming that you have and use extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom just use ordinary emulsion - that's what I do and there's no mould traces on my ceilings.
    Forgotten but not gone.
  • Anti mould paint is expensive, I would just use an anti mould paint additive.
    The one I use will cost you £11 delivered and treats 5 litres of water based emulsion.
    I use this 'professionally' and go through gallons of the stuff in winter months
    I can give you the link for the one I use if you want it or alternatively google 'anti mould paint additive'

    2 1/2 litre of perma white satin is £26 + delivery from decorating direct
    should be more than enough to do a ceiling
