Appliance Source

Has anyone used this company for white goods. I am buying a Freezer and their price is £430 as opposed to £495 from 2 other companies on pricerunner.
Their price is on PR but they say that they are not using them but quote their price to offer customers the best options.
There are some reviews when I link through from their web site. Would rather pay more if I thought the service etc was of a higher standard.
Also it is integrated so will need to get someone to install it for me. Who should be looking for to install it Joiner Electrician etc? Also need it to be disposed of who will do this for me? Thanks as ever for any questions I ask and the advice I am given!

What is the make and model? If the freezer has a plug with it, the joiner/kitchen fitter will probably do a better job of fitting it.

Many companies also offer a disposal service when you buy a new appliance - usually less than £20. Alternatively, ask the tradesperson who will be installing it if they want it for scrap metal value.

It is an AEG integrated under counter freezer frost free.
The kick boards need to be taken off and also the door will need to be fixed to the new freezer. This is why I think I would need a joiner or kitchen fitter. I do have a joiner I use and he has some years ago fitted a kitchen for me. My other thought is that we have a handy man where I live and wonder if he could do it.
I note that companies do take away old appliance and install but they would not do this I feel sure.
I think that the council will uplift appliances for a fee but I would still need to get it from my flat as they will only uplift from where the bins are. I live in a retirement flat and have direct access to the lift from within my flat. Thank you for your advice. I seem to get the thank you messed up and I apologise for this

You didn't mention the model? All companies that supply white/brown goods should offer a disposal service.

Ask both the handyman and joiner for a quote and explain what would be involved.

Also enquire whether they would remove and take away the old freezer for you? If not, you could just ask them to leave it near the bins for you. I'm sure someone after scrap metal will snap it up soon!

Thanks for the reply ! It is the AEG Artis AGN 58210FO
Model it is frost free under counter integrated which reduced the models out there
The Joiner I have used I am sure would take the fridge for me He has always taken things away for me previously. He would be more expensive but I do know the standard of everything he does. I reckon the Council charge about £30 or maybe £40 to take appliances away.
I noted the commends on the web sites that they will take and install but not integrated as it means the kick boards have to be taken off
The Electrician I use I also have a good relationship with but it will only need plugging in. eg of how good my Electrician was that last week my Immerser 1 of 2 on my hot water tank. No gas in property. I had a new thermostat fitted some time ago He came on the day I called him and a wire had burned out I had touched the fitting the previous night without turning it off and it flashed and sizzled.
He sorted it and when I asked how much I owed him He said nothing as I was just on my way home. I did of course insist that he took some cash. It is a Father and Son not sure if there are others in the business but either the Father or the Son will come out and are both great. I have a friend who pays an insurance policy on an electric shower which is now 11 years old. She says they would come right away DOUBT it and where would she get an electrician.
This man said that they are happy to take name etc of someone who might need an electrician in the future, Reason for this is that they will always come out as quickly for people who are previous customers. I thought this was an excellent suggestion. When I did my kitchen 2 years ago the Son did all the work moving up plugs wiring things ovens hobs extractor etc I was dreading the bill as he had used top quality stainless steel switches It was the time spent doing the work and me changing and adding etc. They said as they buy the switches in bulk they are able to pass this to the customer.
Sorry off topic but it is always good to have a tradesman you can trust.
I will ask Adrian for a quote he is the joiner.
At the bins they are housed in an area with doors etc and I know that I probably get who ever fits it could put the freezer there and I could contact the council. Have never needed to do this as when things were fitted the person always removed the goods like carpets fridges etc. Sometimes my head does not think clearly as I get older but your response reminded me of how I can sort things out so again many thanks for your suggestions.
There are 2 places I could buy the freezer from Appliance Direct and one other AD £495
2nd one £475 but they charge £19 + to deliver. They do a reduction if you join WHICH where they sell for £20 less if you sign up for which Costs £1 for a month trial .
I asked about Appliance Source as they are selling it for £430 but there is nothing to say what their service is like Pricerunner say they are not on their list right now but they have printed it so that you can have choice it Need to click the store to transfer another Company is Angel and again it is the same story but they too are cheaper . I need to make a decision as I have been without a freezer since last Wednesday.
Again thank you for as usual excellent advice.

Have you looked at Appliance World:

    http://www.appliance-world.co.uk/AEG_AGN58210F0_Built+Under+Freezer+frost+free.html

They have it listed for £478 with free delivery.

For some reason, PriceRunner no longer seem to return the best prices. Try using Google Shopping instead:

    http://www.google.co.uk/shopping

I suppose the old freezer would need to be removed for the company to collect it for you.

You can either confirm with the local council how much they would charge to take the old one away if it was left near the bins or otherwise, ask your tradesperson to dispose of it for you.

Appliance Source seems to be a brand name of a company based in Southampton. They also have another website: http://kitchensinksandtaps.co.uk
