I'm also looking for deals on tinned Red Salmon if anyone sees any....thanks

I find the Lidl (Greek?) one (Nixe brand) very good. It's also typically quite cheap.

First item bought today. Large toblerone half price at £2 in Tesco. Also if anyone likes Malibu I've recently discovered Kokomo in Tesco, pretty similar to Malibu once you add some coke but I will be honest you can tell the difference neat but it's still rather nice.

Chocolate Oranges a £1 each at the Co-Op.

Also spotted Toblerone in Lidl - can't remember the price though.

Poundland have bags of monkey nuts for £1 (not all stores, but mine is getting them in for Christmas although others stock them year round).

Colman's condiments are half price in Tesco so I got the cranberry sauce ready for Christmas. That's all the preparation I've done so far.:o

I noticed that Sensations big bags of crisps were £1 in the Co-op but I dare not buy any or they'll be gone before the weekend!;)

Good to see this thread again - it was so useful last year.

Need to find room in my cupboards and freezers first - so a no spend week in order I think. I have ...

Xmas pudding left over from last year - we normally eat it at Easter but didn't this year. Still in date so will refrain from getting another.
Like other poster got lots of 20p mincemeat last Jan/Feb so need to use up - will make mince pies once I have room.
Got 6 bottles of Tesco finest chianti on double discount at Tesco's and 2 whites (Quirky bird I think :)) on Double The Difference so free to me :)
Leg of gammon (DTD ditto above). we have just discovered the delights of cola gammon - I wouldn't drink the stuff but would coke gammon in it - tastes lovely. So this will be Xmas Eve evening meal with cold cuts for Xmas day/Boxing day sandwiches etc.

This summer I have been blackberry collecting and freezing like mad - very good for you, free.:p Taste delicious. I can't believe the price for a tray in the supermarkets. I have 5 x 1 gallon ziplock bags in freezer. Cook with sugar or maple syrup for a nice compote, can cook before or after freezing - great with greek yoghurt/icecream/pancakes/porridge etc. And also delicious in fruit crumble. So get out there folks - there 's still some left but in the final throes. Ohh also nice in summer muffins and can be cooked from frozen in muffins.:p

    Would like:-

Turkey Breast offer before xmas (think Tesco did this last year - half price £10 from £20). Thinking of not bothering with whole Turkey this year.
    Cranbury sauce
Mayonnaise (just missed this week's glitch - sure there'll be another soon will keep you posted).
Trying to swerve the chocs and crisp this year :o.

Happy hunting and if I see any bargains will post here.
