Last year I made my own Christmas wreaths using holly, ivy, green follage, pheasent feather and lots of flowers. I had so many people saying that they would buy one off me that I thought I would make some to sell this year.
Do you know a few of these people well enough to ask what they would be willing to pay for one of your wreaths?
If you love doing them and aren't too bothered about getting paid for your time, you could set a price that covers your costs plus a bit extra.
If you price up your time, the wreaths will need to be quite expensive to make it worth your while.0 -
Can I suggest you do a search on etsy.com for wreaths theres loads. Hand made on there at £20 for an artificial wreath is quite inexpensive, you could compare to the sort of wreaths you do and even start selling yourself. People buying there do seem to expect to pay a bit more for hand made and exclusive things. Its where I would sell if I had a craft talent, what a shame for me boo hoo.0

Our floristry class at college does wreaths to order every year and charges £12 and £15 they do it to get experience for students not for profit per se so they just cover costs. For an "artisan";) wreath I would be looking to charge about £25. If they are different enough and eye catching they will sell.0

My friend has been making wreaths for several years now. She charges £20 - £25 and has no trouble getting that. I always put my order in towards the end of November to make sure she's got time to make mine!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400

I'm not sure it's really worth it if you want to do it to actually make money...?
By the time you've paid for materials, your labour, tax, done the paperwork for tax returns etc. you're really not going to make that much.
Having said that, if you really enjoy them it might be worth it for the enjoyment!

P.S. I agree with the others, £20ish is a good price depending on the local area and market. Don't suppose you're in Norfolk are you? I'm looking for someone to make me a wreath this year!0 -
