Hi,

The ad says AA cover for any car + Home Start. Does this include recovering the car if it cannot be repaired at the roadside?

The Getting Started guide answers your question:

Under AA Breakdown Cover, assistance will be provided to try to repair the vehicle at the roadside or, if
this is not possible, a tow to a local garage for you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers.

I have been towed to a garage of my choice around 20 miles from my breakdown using this service too. I'm sure that's note the norm, but it is a great service. It wasn't an AA van than came for me though, it was a local mechanics and tow firm.
