Hi
We had a Gazco Logik power flue fire which was great but has now stopped working so we need to replace it.
We don't have a chimney but the fire was fitted on to an outside wall & so vented through the wall.
Ive started trawling through the different gas fire suppliers looking through the vast array of options and Im totally confused.
Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions on what type / make to go for ?
Thanks
Jen

Have you googled for balanced flue gas fires? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Hi
Yes I'm looking at balanced flue & power flue fires but there are so many ! So looking for advice on makes to go for & those to avoid
I think there is also a catalytic type that doesnt need a flue at all and deals with the gases and vents back into the room but to be honest I don't like the sound of that.
I have also seen discussions on here with some installers saying they won't install certain types as they think they're dangerous but the discussions appear to be a couple of years old so the fires may have moved on since then.
Thanks
