The Ikea domsjo inset sink is the cheapest I can find for the look im after in my new kitchen, however im unsure if the waste will fit onto standard uk pipes or if i need to buy specific waste attachments. Has anyone fitted one of these sinks and is it standars sizes for plug waste etc? If i do need to buy a specific kit could someone give me the item number for screwfix or wherever so i can buy all the bits and bobs before the handyman comes to fit it.

LoL - what is standard? B&Q sell fittings for their standard 38mm waste pipe which happens to be a different size from everybody elses 38mm waste pipe for some unfathomable reason.
Yes he will need some sort of compression connectors along the way. No I have no idea what because I can't see your installation nor a plan of it.
If he's any sort of handyman then he carries this sort of thing on his van. If he doesn't or wants to charge you extra for going out to get them then he's really not very handy TBH.
How much is he charging you as a matter of interest?
