Today we are carrying on witht the room of doom, OH will take both doors off (there is a room off of our bedroom, kind of a massive storage area, which is a really handy space) and I will sand them back and hopefully get a coat of paint on them, OH will continue with the walls.

Dinner tonight will be a very easy nabs and I shall have a large glass of wine to go with :D

Hilstep congrats on the new grandbaby xxx

Middle dd and DH are driving youngest dd back to her second year at uni with the car packed to the rafters. (no room for me or oldest dd so staying home)

Used up the home made loaf for boiled egg and toast and made DH a home made milk shake to help build him up. Hospital appointments start on Tuesday every day for a month for radiotherapy so going to be busy.

Cooker hob cleaned, dishwasher on and having a cuppa and browse on here before I deep clean the kitchen (fruit flies making an appearance as DH keeps compost caddy in kitchen).

I need to find something to rescue dd's two tops that DH meaning to help put in a dark wash (they used to be white)

I know you will miss dd but think how proud of her you are and what a good job you did in getting her able to spread her wings.
It is going to be very quiet here without youngest even though I have other dds at home for now.

No idea what to make for tea tonight - maybe salmon fillet with veg bake or else a HM pizza, mini quiches maybe.

Hugs to all especially Hester, Molly, Lame Wolf

I just find it so frustrating that I have to explain it to our payroll clerk and to the payroll company, it's their job for heavens sake!
Hubby's only just had breakfast, he decided to go and sort out a problem at work first.
Fish pie for tea later, I've found a bag of mixed fish scraps in the freezer and have lots of spuds.
    Back to the crochet now.
    Have a good day everyone
    Hugs Hester

My DD goes next week too. Im sad as I will really miss her but so excited for her too. Her old ladies (regular customers at the co-op) gave her some money to buy books - she is so touched x

Rest up day for me as had a funny turn in shops. Inevitable I suppose but so very frustrating:(
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
