The tenants voice a con all along?

This tenants voice Facebook page , I have been looking at this for a couple of months , everything seemingly for the tenants benefit now it seems it is just been a con to gain a big list of tenants and is a letting agent ,well either got a big list or been buying likes .All the same how is a page that saysithelps tenants just making letting agents more fees by passing their names on .
We have just one property let out which I do for myself ,this seems very bad and sharp practice even worse than letting agents going to landlord association meetings wheedling their way in .

How did you find out TTV is being run by a letting agent? I've been looking at it too and giving the occasional response to updates. I'd be a bit miffed if it really is just a con.
  • I couldn't get it to come up on Facebook so put it in google got the Facebook page and loads of other stuff on TTV letting agents

When I Google it I get the TTV website, FB page and then other stuff with the words "tenant voice" or "tenants voice" relating to residents' groups etc.. I don't think they're related to TTV as such, but are just using similar terminology. Of course I could be completely missing it, but it would kinda suck to have yet another cynical ploy by letting agents.
  • It's on the tenantsvoice.co.uk same logos and everything ,sad really

Are these the websites you're talking about? I can't see what you mean about any similarity in the logos.

  • I looked at this a while ago its the first one of the web addresses abovethat's the same as the Facebook page it appears it is a tenant building page for a site trying to sell their information to letting agents who join the main website for a fee.
Nothing remarkable a little blatant maybe
