Combi boiler issue

no not necessarly it's rare for a fault code to show on a boiler if it's over pressurised, get a freezer bag & tape it over the pipe outside (the small copper one that either goes down to ground level or turns back towards the wall) & see if you get water in it, if you do the valve is opening, thats of course if you can reach it,
the pressure will only rise when you have the heating on it won't do it with just hot water, so if you are really worried, turn off the heating & put a jumper on until you get it sortedI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Have checked and prv started dripping at 3 so looks like its confirmed and will call in morning and demand someone round.
