Cheers - I knew I was probably looking in the right place!

I bought the (unborn) baby their first Christmas book, 24p after the cashback, which seemed like a bargain, given it won't be able to read or even focus on it until Christmas 2015 :rotfl:

Mine has tracked , I got two books , the skinny slow cooker book and the skinny soup one , so effectively buy one get one free :) , just in time for this horrible weather

I didn't think you could get 2 books. I wish I had tried that as my book cost £3.50 so I could possibly have got 2 for £7 minus £5 so got 2 books for £2. Well done! Enjoy cooking! :)

The two 'skinny' books were £4.99 each, so 'buy one get one free' meant cash back on one only. I don't think you have missed out, so don't fret!

If you got 2 £3.50 books, you only get reimbursed up to the cost of 1 book, so you would get £3.50 cash back. To maximise the more cash back people are selecting more expensive books because they will give you a maximum of £5 cash back. So if a book costs £9.99 you get £5 cash back, so the book only costs £5.

Hope you understand all that :)
  • yeah i got .4.99 cashback so not too bad , lol
    The original janiebaby ;)
  • I put a book in that had free super saver delivery but when I checked out it was showing a postal charge and I couldn't find a way to eliminate it. Used to be simple but now I am confused.

You have to change the delivery method on checkout as it will always automatically show 1st class delivery.

You have a list of options, just click on the 3-5 days delivery one.
  • Thank you so much. I've just ordered a book for my dissertation. It was 21 and change, so now £16.

That's a big difference in a student budget!

Has anyone done this with more than one TCB account in the same household?

I ask because they say you can but may have to prove the account holder did the purchasing(not sure what that means exactly)

Just wondering if someone had and it had tracked ok as my OH and daughter both have accounts as well.

Yes - on separate TCB accounts for the wife and me. Separate Amazon accounts too, just to be sure.

However - one produced the £5 cashback and one didn't. Yet to take it up with TCB, because these don't track in the normal way, but I will be doing.
