Personal Number Plates
Options
The new 57 plate was released for sale on 5th June, and with 57 looking like "ST" there will be lots of good number plates available.
A lot of the combinations are only available during June, and will not then be offered for sale again (I'm guessing they are just added to the pool of numbers to be issued randomly).
I've just paid £399 for a plate that I'm sure would cost a lot more from a dealer, so if you can think of a suitable 57 plate for you, it would be worthwhile checking its price now.
The 57 plates are in the format below, where the x can be (almost) any letter.
XX57 XXX
Examples I can think of for XX57 are
BE57 (BEST)
FA57 (FAST)
LO57 (LOST)
You get the idea...
You can check to see if your plate is available here

I know they are a bit of an indulgence, and that some people hate them, but I see them as a bit of fun, and I will be using this plate on my cars for the rest of my days.
One note...you can't make a car look newer than it is by using these plates, therefore any car that it goes on to, has to be registered after Sept 2007. As a result, I have put mine on retention, and it will probably remain there for 2-3 years before I next change my car.

Hi,
good post, but I do not agree. The number 7 looks nothing like T.
Your much better off going for the prefix syle plate eg B6ST D @3990 -
number 7 is the best match for letter T0
