'Fright Night' Fancy dress ideas

Creative ideas needed!
I'm going to a fancy dress party in a couple of weeks and the theme is 'Fright Night'.
Problem is that I'm not a fan of 'evil', zombie etc fancy dress and not a big fan of Halloween and all it celebrates. BUT, BUT... a) I love to dress up and b) it would hurt the person hosting the party if I don't come (particularly if I give what could be seen as a 'random' excuse)
So, I hoping the collective MSE creative minds can help me come up with an idea. At the moment, all I can think of is an angel / nun....
