partner affected by my rating?

Hi my partner and I recently put our finances together and also the bank account, now my partner wants to swap credt cards to stop the interest .... however due to my poor credit rating it's affecting the application if we revert back to separate accounts will it put my partners account back to normal I.e not affect her credit applications? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

    Do you have a mortgage together? A mortgage in either your name or her name would be OK. You will have to unlink yourselves from each other and notify the CRA's....such as on Experian's online form. http://www.experian.co.uk/contactforms/consumer_onlinedisassociation.html
