Beko Washing Machine: Wm 6123W, Water Leak From The Bottom

Hey

I have a Beko washing machine: wm 6123W.

Firstly, the drain pipe of the washing machine got torn; i wasted days to find a drain pipe suitable for this machine. After replacing it, buying the remaining hoses etc...and turning on the machine, water leaked from the bottom. It is not from the pipe i did replace , nor from the inlet hose. It seems it is coming down from the hose coming out of the pump which from i recall should be connected nowhere.

below is a link to an image of the hose:

as soon as the w.m starts filling up, water leaks out of this hose
where should be connected? is it meant to evacuate steam? is there any cap to close its end?

The hose is an emergency drain hose described here:

Have you checked the filter for blockage?

The black hose should have a plug at the end. If it doesn't water will leak out of the machine.

The hose stopper didn't just fall out, which is why I suggested checking the filter. The stopper was probably blown out by the pump acting like a simple safety valve.

I agree with 'espresso'. The hose stopper doesn't just fall out. Check on the floor around the washing machine.
