I bought a lamp starter for fluorescent tube lighting, just opened them up and the wattage is 4 - 80w and 220-250v but the 1 that wouldnt work says 4-65w and 220-240v. Would these be ok to use despite being a different voltage and wattage ?

You have not stated what your florescent tube is rated at but the new starter will work fine. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

They are the same thing, it's just that the former has a better/wider spec, than the failed one.0
