iPhone 5 no sounds on apps

I have noticed this in the past week. My ringtone, text alert and when I lock the phone, I hear sound with no issue.
Apps produce no sound. At first I thought I selected the sound to be off under the individual apps.
Is there a fault with my Iphone which was purchased Feb/March or do I need to do anything?

Judging by your post count, I take it you are nowhere near an Apple store or you would already have visited them?0

If you go into the Music folder can you hear music OK? Check it works through the phone's speakers and also through headphones.
What iOS are you running on it?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
