  • Imagine Alan owns a car
Alans car is stolen by Barry
Barry sells the car to Chris
Chris sells the car to Dave
    Dave sells it to Eddie.

Barry and Eddie cant tell Alan to go away, the car belongs to Alan.
You're either going to have to take a huge financial loss, and allow the person who stole your free hold a big fat bag of cash, or you're going to have to lawyer up and start racking up expenses you can reclaim from the land registry.

I'd not seen this thread before - I think if it'd been me I'd have wanted those at fault to buy the flat off me at the price it was for sale at (as it wasn't a huge fortune, so not impossible), then let them sort out their problem in their own time, or take the loss.
