Custardy I would be so interested in your take on the privatisation thing. Do you have an idea how it will affect you guys, and also how it will affect the service?

no I don't have a choice cant get to my collection office and this could be something very important so no choice ive had to pay.

well unfortunately its a case of you get the option to pay
You get 21 days to collect/see the item
    what system do you suggest?

    who knows
    staff will be cut
the service has declined and will continue to do so
in the short term you wont see much difference
long term the service will change dramatically

Horrible. Really hope that doesn't come your way

There was talk about striking a while back. Wonder what the union is doing.

    Good afternoon my lovelies,

Just received a card in the post from Royal Mail stating that the sender didn't pay the full postage (9p) and that I have to pay a handling fee of £1 plus the 9p to collect the item.
Anyone else get a card like this today? will be tapping the sender on the wrist once I find out who they are! unless of course its a huge cheque ;) x

Did you find out what it was in the end?
This happened to me last year, I paid the fee at the PO and then found it was a bl**dy Christmas card from my brother, he'd put a normal 1st class stamp on a too-large envelope!:mad::mad:

personally I dont see the point in striking over this
    its coming
There will be some financial carrot(on top of shares),an agreement to retain T&Cs for X time
    then its dame over
so losing wages seems a waste of effort

My royal mail lady is lovely, when it's only a few pence she lets it go :) But it is annoying! :( xx
