We recently upgraded our 80GB PS3 with a 1TB hard drive for £55. Some can only be upgraded to 500GB (so my OH tells me anyway - he thinks that's the original 60GB model).

I have the 60GB model. I hope I can upgrade mine to 1TB or even 2TB

Given that its a sata interface I would peg it at 2TB, however not all 2.5" drives are the same height so it might not physically fit in the ps3.
