    Sounds good for you to wait 18 months and see where work takes you then. No point in buying now, and you'll be able to afford a proper home with 2 of you.

    So i'd get saving into a mix of cash in 123 accts or elsewhere at 3%, and in S&S isas (as you don't know really how long in the future before you buy but will be more than 2 years).
