Why has my thread and poll disappeared?

I started a poll this morning on 'smacking children' and it seems to have vanished. I assume that I have violated some obscure MSE rule:o - it would be nice to know what that was, or the reason that it was removed, instead of it just disappearing.
Anyway, 'thank you' to those who took time to respond.

Do a search, there have been loads of threads on the subject and when you read them you might see why MSE don't want to deal with another!0

I have a feeling smacking is outlawed so that is probably why0

Thank you, but at the risk of having this thread pulled as well, smacking is not illegal.
It was a simple poll to gauge the number of people who do or do not, smack. I'm not sure that it required MSE to 'deal' with anything, but what would I know

Search your own posts - if it is still there then you will find it even if it has been moved.
If it is not there then it has been deleted by the forum team.
Either way, starting another thread about something that may have been removed is just asking for the replacement to be removed as well.:hello:0
