So it's statute barred and they can't find a copy of any document proving you owed it anyway?

That's a load off my mind. So basically, they are ceasing chasing me because they know they can't enforce it because its SB and they don't have a copy of the agreement?
I take it they will inform cl finance of thousand its up to them how to proceed? Haven't heard a sausage since 2005 about this anyway.

Hard to say. Sometimes collectors just send it off to another one, and it does the round a few more times. As said, you know the score now, so even if it does you can send them packing as well.

Or it may just all go quiet...
