Does the co-op do auto renew? If so then don't forget to make sure they let the policy lapse on expiry rather than auto renewing.
As a minimum I get a name and date (so phoen recordings can be checked) but if this company are a nightmare then I would ask for confirmation in email that the policy is being lapsed. I would do this AFTER you have got the renewal notice in your hand (for NCB purposes).
In theory you should be able to get proof - but as you say tey are a nightmare then I would do it after I have the proof of MCB.0 -
